HY380 ultra-high pressure water jet cutting system is developed by SAME CO., LTD. It is the application of hi-tech in cutting tool industry. The working principle of this machine is that the oil-piston-pump driven intensifier pressurizes the water up to 180-380*** or more. This pressurized water is delivered to an orifice with a tiny opening, which can transfer the potential energy of the high pressure water into the kinetic energy of the water jet hereon generated. If abrasive is added and mixed in the mixing tube, the ejected water stream can cut the work piece. Equipped with the sophisticated pc control system and the accurate 2-D working table, this system can cut a variety of materials into any shape of any complexity.
This system is simply named ¡°water jet¡±. It is characterized by ultra-high pressure, small flow and tiny jet, which creates a cold processing tool. It has many advantages, including:
1. No preference to the material of the workpiece. It can be used to cut all kinds of composites, without causing any damage to the internal structure of the material.
2. High cutting quality and low cost. Because of the water cooling , the temperature on the workpiece is no more than 80℃, thus the workpiece doesn¡¯t has the problem of thermal deformation or thermal effect. Therefore, the nature and performance of the material is reserved. The smooth cutting surface makes the succeeding processing unnecessary, which reduces the processing cost. The material can be used effectively due to the narrow kerf.
3. Easy to control. By employing the relative coordinate system, there is no original point, thus this machine can start at any point and to any direction. It can process the complicated part that is impossible for the traditional machine. With the use of PLC and CAM technology, this machine can produce various of components with complex design at small amount.
